School of Management

The University of Alaska Fairbanks was founded just under a century ago as the Alaska Agricultural College and School of Mines and was named the University of Alaska in 1935. Twenty years later, the school would accord its first PhD. The school is able to offer individualized attention with a student to faculty ratio of only 11 to 1.
