Master of Accountancy

Those interested in a Master of Accountancy can complete the program in as little as a year. The College of Business has designed the graduate program in accounting to prepare students for a career in the field, and specifically for a career in public accounting. Upon graduation, students will be fully prepared to sit for the CPA exam.
This program is best suited for students who have undergraduate degrees in accounting or a related field. Those who do not have enough accounting experience are still encouraged to apply, but they will be required to complete some core classes to meet the curriculum requirements. Students can take courses for the MAcc degree at all Idaho State University campuses, and the classes are held in the spring, fall and summer semesters. In order to finish the program in a year, classes must be taken each semester.
