Evercore Partners

Every summer, investment bank Evercore hires between 20 and 50 interns for 10-week internships. Accounting majors entering their senior year of school may apply. Applications are reviewed starting in December, so be sure to apply prior to leaving for Thanksgiving break.

Houlihan Lokey

Another investment bank, Houlihan Lokey hires between 50 and 100 interns each year for a 10-week program. Houlihan Lokey assigns interns to deal teams to work on deals involving mergers, acquisitions, valuations and the like. The internship is designed to show students what it is like to work at an investment bank so the student can make an informed decision as to whether investment banking is right for them. PwC takes its internships seriously, by offering a regimented program that includes virtual training, coaching, shadowing, community service, and sponsored networking events. Community service may include traveling internationally to assist with youth education in financial literacy. Selected inters will travel around the world for one-week assignments. Interns that receive a full-time job offer will travel to Disney in Orlando, Florida for leadership and team building. PwC hires over 100 interns nationwide. Start early as the application deadline for PwC is a year before the beginning of the internship so it would be a good idea to apply prior to leaving for summer break the year before.
